Mission: The CSREES-Land Grant University IPM Program is implemented by an experienced network of research and extension staff located in all 50 States and 6 Territories. Each year this network directly influences over 11 million acres of U.S. cropland by transferring research-based knowledge through demonstrations, clinics, workshops, scouting programs, consultations, and a wide variety of printed and electronic media.

The goals of the CSREES - Land Grant University IPM Program are:
1) An agricultural system highly competitive in the global economy;
2) A safe and secure food and fiber system; and
3) Greater harmony between agriculture and the environment.

The CSREES-Land Grant University IPM Program is conducted through:
1)
Research directed toward the development of new knowledge and solving real production problems; and
2)
Extension education to hasten implementation of IPM systems through pest management teams, accelerate the technology transfer process, and assist the private sector in developing and improving delivery of pest management services.
